G H - X 2 --- 8 0 K _ W O R D S

I recently hit 80,000 words (81,829 to be exact) with my story 'GH-X2' - updating it to Chapter 28. As mentioned a few times, this is the first time in my life I have been able to persist with a writing project of more than, ooh, 2-3k words. This is a big deal for me, as prior to starting it, I would not have considered myself in any way a writer, and now, I like to think that I am... ish

It's taken forever, and I'm not going to be accused of updating too regularly any time soon, but I'm still proud that after an 18-month dry spell, I was able to push through my writer's block and at least take the story on a bit of a journey. I have lots of plans, but for now, I'm just going to try and get round to it every few months, and put something out there.

In addition, because I'm a pedantic sort, I actually made precise calculations to map out how GH-X2 would affect growth rates for Penny, Caitlin, and other Alphas way back in 2013 when I was first piecing together the story. I've sat on them for years, and for some odd reason had the urge to turn this information into a bit of super sexy infographical delight, to show exactly how this growth panned out for each character, and how Jack's non-GH growth stacked up in comparison. You may notice that I envisioned it as a pair of GH treatments - the first at age 6-7, and the second at 11-12, each giving around 5 years worth of added growth. The first course of GH-X2 (GHT1) is half the dosage of the later, more impactful GHT2 treatment, which is provided at the onset of puberty. Most treatments take place during the summer break each year, meaning some kids end up getting GH-X2 closer to their 7th or 12th birthdays than their 6th or 11th ones. The dashed purple line at the bottom shows the projected height of Penny if she hadn't taken GH-X2, which shows that genetically she would have been rather small, but her reaction for the drug was very serious indeed. Caitlin's projected height was to be around 5' 7" (not shown on the graph) - but she was put on an experimental, and highly expensive variant of GH-X2 which ultimately gave her a little more than 2.3x her height, as well as increased muscle mass, and a few other things besides...

I've recently updated my long-term Mini-Giantess story GH-X2, taking it up to Chapter 16 now, and just over 45,000 words. It's the only proper story I've ever tried to write, and by far the longest and most thorough project I've ever stuck at.

When I first started writing it, I simply wanted to create a narrative based on my 'ultimate' or 'ideal' scenario with a giantess, the one that most of my renders and concepts revolve around. In time it's become a big mirror, reflecting my quest to unearth how I truly feel about this kink, and what I actually crave from it, rightly or wrongly.

It deals with some pretty heavy themes, like the stripping away of humanity, and the sense of injustice felt by a small individual e.g. Jack (Protagonist / Depiction of the author), and the murky middle ground between craving an equal relationship with unobtainable, beautiful, superior girls e.g. Penny (Ingenue / Girl Next Door), and wanting to bedominated and treated like a plaything by them e.g. Caitlin (Antagonist / Tsundere).

Penny represents the intrinsically kind, good, gentle giantess that I wish to have a loving, equal companionship with, who can see past the size difference, or makes it into a positive thing.

Caitlin represents the absurdly sexy, untamed, dominant and at-a-push evil side of a giantess that makes me feel inadequate and doubt myself, because she uses the size difference against me.

The power play in most of my favourite stories is very much the Caitlin type of model - helpless men being toyed with at a Mini-Giantess sort of size ratio. I find it impossibly erotic, even though in real life, it would terrify me, and probably scar me. My other favourite stories, which I don't find erotic, but I do find soul-enriching, deal with relationships with beautiful souls like Penny. Both these sides of the coin are slowly being dealt with in GH-X2.

There is a fictitious figure in semi-popular culture who very closely aligns to my vision of a 'dream girl'. As a not-very-interested-in-comics-unless-they-have-giant-ladies-in kinda guy, it took me a long time to find out about all of the very tall or giant comic book heroines, and Caitlin Fairchild was one of the last that I discovered. 

If I had known about her when I was younger, I would probably have been ridiculously infatuated with her. At 6' 4", with an amazonian, muscular build, long red hair and green eyes, she physically embodies absolutely everything I, quite independently, find crazy attractive. As a character, her persona as a bookish, nerdy girl who suddenly became stacked and insanely strong and resiliant, but retains all of her girl-next-door qualities, is also something I find very desirable.

Whilst there are obvious similarities between Fairchild and GH-X2's Caitlin physically, personality-wise it's Penny who more closely resembles a gawky, introverted girl with a towering body (though she isn't incredibly muscular and powerful). Giganta, perhaps, would be a good fit for the kind of bullying, nasty streak I've depicted, matching her relative 6' 6" in Alpha terms and acting as a very aggressive and dominant antagonist within the confines of the story.

PS: Interesting fact - I actually came up with the name for Caitlin in GH-X2 because I was looking for an appropriate name for a red-haired girl from Irish stock. Caitlin = Pure, Bridget = Strong, Reid = Red-haired. Only later did I realise I had used exactly the same name, and how similar they are in physique.

SizeCon - Poster & Video Montage.

Sadly, I wasn't able to attend the first ever SizeCon in New York City this year for a variety of reasons (mainly due to being UK-based), I would've been there in a heartbeat if I could. I'm a huge believer in what the organisers are doing for the size community, and I will try my utmost to support them, and, with a little luck, attend next year's convention.

I was, however, incredibly fortunate to have a winning poster design exhibited at the venue, and I heard that someone was able to give the artwork a home at the end of the event! It's a render of a gentle mini-giantess scenario that represents a sometimes forgotten side to my work.

This exact scale ratio stems from a retro sci-fi pin-up I found online long ago, which has the caption:

"This Martian maiden looks a treat,

But top to toe she's thirteen feet,

So hard luck spaceman, there's no joy,

When giant girl meets six foot boy."

I always thought that it was a cruel to assume there would be 'no joy'.

There is also a wonderful thread on Giantess City entitled Giantess Kiss, in which the thread owner, SantaClaus, states:

"The interest in giantesses is understood here to be sexual, though there's little sex in the giantess presentations we see here. For many people the female giant is a power symbol more than a sex symbol... ...When we see the giantess' mouth, it's usually open to devour a victim, not puckered to express affection. I've gone through the work of many of our contributors to find the simplest expression of affection, the kiss."

I first saw this striking image on a birthday card given to me by my girlfriend several years ago - it depicts a scene from Gulliver's Travels. I had somehow never caught sight of it before, and it's always stuck with me. I like the politeness and delicacy of it, though I'm by no means a fan of grovelling or envisioning giantesses as goddesses to be served, I think it's more of a sign of respect; a poignant, appreciative gesture from a small man to a giant lady. I included a small nod to this image in my SizeCon poster entry, though if truth be told, I probably did it because even on a stepladder he can't reach her lips...

In addition, I volunteered myself at the eleventh hour to help Jitensha & Bryan piece together a video montage that showcased various niches of the 'size community' in contemporary media to be screened as part of the 'Size in Popular Culture' panel at the con. 90% of the content was curated by them, all I really did is throw their picks together alongside a few choices of my own, title the clips as accurately as possible, and set it to a soundtrack - though I hope it's an enjoyable watch!

Alpha Tales Chapter 9 - Caitlin

As most of you are probably aware, I am writing a story on giantessworld called 'GH-X2', documenting the story of Jack, a 'regular'-sized 17-year-old inhabiting a world in which most people are over twice his height. The tale, which is currently unfinished and planned out to last a good while longer, is currently 13 chapters long, and at over 36,000 words, by far the longest thing I have written.
Ever.

I have been reluctant to release any imagery directly associated with the story, instead rendering small scenarios from that universe which I've posted here under the name Alpha Tales; renders depicting ideas I've had when experimenting with the size ratio. Daz3D Studio has been an essential tool in accurately modelling and mapping out certain scenes and interactions, but I've not been totally happy with the versions of Caitlin, Jack et al I've been able to make in the program - let alone the environments in which the action takes place.

As of right now, however, I'm very happy with my current version of Caitlin, the 13-foot tall redhead who serves as Jack's primary antagonist, so I thought I would release some images of her. In the story she is described as a rich, misandristic bully, incredibly tall and athletic even by Alpha standards, and it's her sheer size and sexuality that overwhelms and torments our poor hero.

In my notes, I have painstakingly calculated some of Caitlin's vital statistics to help visualise her, some of which I have listed below:

Height: 13' 1" (398cm)

Weight: 2120lb (961kg)

Breast Size: 80M (weighing 35lb / 16kg each)

Shoe Size: 50 US (feet 24" / 61cm long)

Measurements: 84-54-78

Deadlift: 3840lb (1741kg)

A brief word on the art style: I've used a sketchy, painterly effect to obscure the graininess inherent in quick sub-hour renders; they come across as impressionistic glimpses of action and not super detailed, precise renders, they're to accompany a story, not dictate how you envisage it.

If you're attracted to girls, what hair colour do you like best? I've included a fifth option because I know some people like girls with dyed hair (blue, green etc) plus I can't rule out people preferring grey hair! I personally have a soft spot for redheads, possibly because of the number of red-haired female characters on TV shows I watched as a child, or perhaps as my first crush was a cute, ginger girl when I was very young. I'm not really pedantic about hair colour, I don't discriminate, but when it comes to my fantasies I always seem to have my favourites.

This poll hints at a much larger discussion I had on GiantessCity about how big creatures are depicted as slow and ponderous to emphasize their size, like monsters or giants in films and tv, and an equation I was able to track down by doing some scientific sleuthing which can be used to calculate how much this rate might change if someone were to be rescaled :

Regardless of the ins and outs of my 'scale time' argument, it's a simple yes or no question, do you prefer your larger ladies and miniature men to move like you do, or to take giant, slow footsteps and tiny scampering ones?

This poll essentially asks if you prefer a regular-sized man with a giant girl or a shrunken man with a regular-sized girl. Growth or shrink innit? I've complicated matters by asking if you like both simultaneously (say a 3' tall guy with a 12' tall girl) to draw attention to a part of this experience I feel is often overlooked, the context, i.e. any clothes, props, or environments in the fantasy. For example, if I imagine myself to be shrunken, presumably I'd be naked and the girl would be clothed, but a significant part of my shrunken fantasy might be to be undressed over a giant bed (i.e. to have a comparative scale experience with shrunken items as well as just myself) this would require shrunken clothes, hence the extra options!

This initial poll is pretty straightforward; which size ratios do you like? I'm pretty specific, and probably segregate the heights more than most people can be bothered to, but as I'm obsessed with detail the subtle characteristics of each scale trigger lots of different thoughts for me. The difference between coming up to someone's navel and coming up to their knee, physically, psychologically and sexually, means I struggle to put them under a big 'mini giantess' umbrella, despite it in itself being a specialist term already!

I have started this blog to show some of my earlier work, and alternate images to the ones I have already contributed on Giantess City.

My work consists of mainly amazon or mini-giantess size comparisons.

I equally enjoy both shrunken man and giant woman fantasies. It is standard practice to list the lofty height of a giant woman (F), or the negligible stature of a shrunken man (m), but these dimensions only trigger erotic thoughts because they are relative to 'normal' size.

On some occasions I like the idea of being small and naked in a normal woman's world, with gigantic clothes, objects, food, and the notion of being secret or trapped. On other occasions I fantasise that my ordinary life is turned upside down by a giant woman, imagining what she would do with everything being so much littler for her. I also have crossover ideas, where there are two livable scales interacting, multiple scales, or F growing and m shrinking relative to normal size, or proportional to one another by mass or height.

To be indiscriminate, I will classify most of these fantasies by their size ratio. When the size ratio is less than 2 (for example, a 9 foot tall woman is approximately 1.5 times larger than an average man) then I classify this as amazon or tall woman. Obviously these are misleading terms, as there are some fantastic examples in slow shrink stories of men losing inches and the women appear to be amazonian, but it is the most common term, and I myself don't create images of slightly shrunken men, but 6'+ amazons.
