A N I M 8 # 7 --- 5 0 _ F E E T _ T A L L

It's been over two years since I last posted a video, as for a variety of reasons I don't render much in DAZ Studio nowadays. However, I've recently been dabbling with Saints Row: The Third again, and have been able to scale not only the character but the walk movement too. Subsequently I've created a machinima video in the style of a movie trailer, and though there isn't much of a story to it I've attempted to make something out of the clips I captured.

What you see was all rendered at 720p (my computer can't handle much more without dipping below 15fps) with a few graphics settings turned up, and some of it has been slightly enhanced in post. I've taken the liberty of adding a lot of the soundscape myself, from the booming footsteps to some of the screams and noises, but other than that it's in-game audio.

The giantess is exactly 50 feet tall, as the title implies, and I found it quite exciting to truly see how a person at this scale interacts with the city around them. Initially she is my typical female avatar; athletic, red-haired ponytail, wearing clothes I like, often pink ones. In the latter stages, this avatar resembles Alison Hayes in AOTFFW, initially dressed up like in the film (implied by the let's pretend interlude) but later completely nude - as I thought that would be worth a shot. I personally prefer my ladies with clothes on, actually, but I tried to put a bit of everything in, plus if a lady suddenly expanded to this size I'm convinced her clothes probably wouldn't...

The song is 'Arcade' by Hans Zimmer, from the Man of Steel Soundtrack Deluxe Edition

The initial concept behind this was to have a double size minigts and a regular guy dancing in a normal club. The guy dances obnoxiously so she becomes irritated and starts to walk off, before deciding to intimidate him. Is his theatrical tumble a sarcastic gesture or is he genuinely overcome?

This animation was inspired in part by 'Classic Guys' by SpawnGTS and 'Year 5' by Helplesscase, though I have chosen a girl sized more towards Mulder85's '12 foot tall muscle girl' idea.

The guy is 5 feet 11 inches tall, the girl is 12 feet 3 inches tall (over 13 feet tall with her 7 1/2 inch heels on).

The song is 'Deadmau5 & Kaskade - I Remember (FSG Remix)'

My first foray into growth. A 5'6" woman slowly and deliberately grows 5 feet taller in a series of bursts, until she is a busty, muscular amazon/giantess with very stretched clothes. It is shot as if the footage is being captured on a mobile phone.

Animation was created in Daz Studio, using aniMate and dynamic clothing.

Here is another attempt at the drive-by gts genre! Sorry for the quality being a bit scuzzy.

Ok, now. Brace yourselves...

I have branched out into fairly basic animation with Daz Studio and aniMate, I don't really have teh skilz to do much more than make a sexily proportioned lady amble along, but I am trying to make that scenario as realistic as possible. This is one of the best early test videos, nearly all of which involve a giantess walking and being a bit sexy, viewed from a tracking car shot.

It is relatively quick to render an animation on the most basic settings in Daz3D (and this is how 95% of my other videos are at present) - but I am still working towards a perfect 'real' drive-by video for when I can leave my laptop alone for a couple of days to render it. The aim is to have: i) realistic walking with no judders, extra poses and maybe interaction, ii) camera shake, due to handheld cam and foot impacts, iii) depth of field and focus / out of focus, and finally iv) HDRI-quality final render.

In case anyone is interested / much better at mathematics than myself, I have always wondered how much a scaled-up giantess is proportionally slower than a normal woman. Because I only need a rough, but consistent, approximation, I decided to use the cube root of the scale ratio. I have no idea if this coincides with any volume-based calculations, but it seemed neat and tidy and gave quite good results for the heights I use.

For this video:

original woman (f) = (say) 5' 8"
upscaled woman (F) = 50' 0"
F / f ratio = 8.824...
cube root of ratio = 2.066...

100*(1/2.066...) = 48.39% normal walking speed
